|The Otho Davis Scholarship Foundation will award scholarships annually in accordance with the wishes of Otho Davis. He expressed the following desires and qualifications, which constitute the policy of our foundation:
“A scholarship will be awarded to a deserving graduate student in a school program of study whose area of concentration is in sports medicine, sports marketing or a related field.
The award will be based upon an overall review of merit and financial need by the members of the foundation’s Board of Trustees. The candidate must either attend school in or be a resident of either of either Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey or Northern Delaware. The awarded scholarship will be directly sent to the school on behalf of the student and must be used within five years of the award acceptance.”.
We will be awarding two Graduate students a scholarship in the amount of $20,000 each.
|Participation in a graduate program in the area of a) sports medicine, b) physical training, or c) sports marketing.
The student must be a resident of or attend college in the Delaware Valley area (Greater Philadelphia area including Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware).
The applicant must also exhibit significant financial need and should note their current total educational debt. This determination must be addressed or the application will not be considered. A letter from the financial aid office will usually suffice. Scholarship finalists may be asked to provide verification of total educational debt.
